Transfer power, Peter could save his legacy, Chief Justice and Speaker address Malawians

After the ill advised press briefing by some Government Ministers yesterday, we wake up as a nation much angry, anxious and more importantly a democracy the whole world is watching.
I wish Honourable Patricia Kaliati had not used the words "Joyce Banda is not eligible" due to the fact that she formed a party whilst a Vice President. At this critical hour, that saves as an insult to all well thinking Malawians and more dangerous as it keeps being repeated across the country.
The Chief Justice Right Honourable Lovemore Munlo, the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Bright Msaka, the Speaker of Parliament Right Honourable Henry Chimunthu Banda and the Security organs Chiefs, the Inspector General of Police and the MDF Commander have this morning an obligation to rise the occassion.
These people knows the true status of President Bingu wa Mutharika, they know the constitution and at this hour, Malawi needs them more.
The departed President's family too have an obligation to protect the legacy of President Mutharika, who more than once, clearly expressed the desire to leave office as prescribed by the constitution and retire to Ndata Farm.
Only one great man needs to stand now, today and this morning and save this Nation and serve the people of Malawi, as prescribed in their constitution in 1994.
Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, could be excused as to be in an emotional state, but he has worked as a man of his own for years. History will judge him harshly should he listen to greedy, selfish and power hungry politicians who have misled his brother and the ruling party, sending them from a well deserved popularity to the worst ratings for any party.
The Professor has power to change the course of History, to emerge from this fiasco with strong democratic credentials and become the country's most powerful politician with a majority of Parliamentarians.
He will also do his brother a great service, by protecting his legacy, will and credentials as a democrat. Great Leaders emerge from crisis and they sacrifice personal ambitions for common good.
That opportunity arises now, this morning, where the World is watching, where people will measure not Kaliati's, not Jean Kalirani's. not Kondwani Nankhumwas', not Henry Mussa or Nicholas Dausis words or deeds, but of one Malawian, with a legal background, a Professor at a Washington University, who once proclaimed that he believes in what is good, issue based and factual reality of Malawi.
The World is waiting for Professor Aurther Peter Mutharika to walk his sworn path, show a heart of sacrifice and underline his democratic credentials.
Any assumption of power not provided for in the constitution will finish any politician forever.
There might be resistance, but legally the transfer of power in Malawi is very open, straight forward and more importanly clearly stipulated in the constitution.
President Bingu wa Mutharika, formed a party whilst in Government, he never resigned, nobody denied him power. Honourable Patricia Kaliati should know that and she should not wake up this morning and become an agent of doom for our democracy, values and beliefs.
To the end, this morning Malawians expect this saga to end today, there is no other way but to recognise the rightful constitutional authority.
As much as it pains to loose out such political authority, greatest men and women, rose from the ashes of worst.
God Bless Malawi and its elected and appointed officers of the Executive, Judiciary and Legislature.
Long Live Malawi

That's true he must revive the DPP and move forwrad with his political ambitions. This the only time that peolple will actually know him as the professor not BINGU'S young brother. he is going to see clearly those who were there only to confuse the administration of his brother.
